Signup Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 February 2026

These Signup Terms and Conditions ("Signup Terms") govern creation of an AttendIn account and acceptance of the AttendIn Platform Agreement. They are designed for clickwrap acceptance on the website sign-up flow and for invite/OTP acceptance flows.

1. What you are agreeing to

When you accept these Signup Terms, you are entering into a binding agreement with AttendIn Ltd ("AttendIn", "we", "us") consisting of:

  • AttendIn Terms of Service (the "ToS")
  • Privacy Policy (and any Cookie Policy)
  • Your applicable Plan Schedule (Beta, Basic, Pro, Enterprise)
  • Any Order Form, Data Processing Agreement (DPA), or security addendum (if applicable)

If there is a conflict, your Plan Schedule and/or signed Order Form (if any) prevails for the relevant plan.

2. How acceptance happens (two routes)

2.1 Website sign-up (checkbox clickwrap)

If you sign up on the AttendIn website, you accept the Agreement by ticking the checkbox stating you agree to the ToS and Privacy Policy, and then completing account creation.

2.2 Invite / OTP acceptance (button clickwrap)

If you arrive via an email Invite (for example, an Organiser inviting an attendee, adding a delegate/co-ordinator, or reassigning a ticket), you accept the Agreement by clicking the on-page "Continue" / "Accept" button next to the linked ToS and Privacy Policy, and completing OTP verification.

For clarity: acceptance is not based on email wording alone; it is based on the on-page acceptance action and OTP verification.

3. Account creation and authority

If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Plan schedules (subscription types)

Your rights and obligations depend on the subscription type assigned to your account. The schedules below apply.

Schedule A - Beta Customer Terms (Event Organiser Beta)

These Beta terms apply if your account is designated as a Beta Customer. Beta access is provided to test and improve the Platform.

A1. Beta limitations and defects

Beta features may be incomplete and may contain errors, bugs, or defects. You do not receive access to modify AttendIn's code or systems; you use the Platform as an event organiser via the standard interface.

A2. Defect reporting and feedback loop

You agree to participate in a feedback loop, including:

  • Logging defects/bugs using AttendIn's reporting method with reasonable detail (steps to reproduce, screenshots where possible);
  • Responding to reasonable feedback requests (surveys, short calls, or questions) about usability and performance.
A3. Feedback as testimonials and marketing

You agree AttendIn may use your Feedback as testimonials and marketing content (including quotes, paraphrased feedback, and "what we changed" stories) for awareness and conversion campaigns.

AttendIn may attribute testimonials to your organisation name and role/title unless you request anonymisation in writing. AttendIn will not publish your uploaded contact lists, or personal email/phone details as part of any testimonial.

A4. Beta support and change/discontinuation

Beta support is best-efforts and may be limited. AttendIn may modify, suspend, or discontinue Beta features at any time.

Schedule B - Basic (Free) Plan Terms

Basic is free and may include usage limits (events, attendees, emails, storage, features). We may change Basic features and limits over time. Support is best-efforts and there is no service level commitment.

Schedule C - Pro Plan Terms

Pro is a paid plan with features described on the pricing page and/or order form. Pro renews monthly or annually (per checkout). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period unless required otherwise by law. Support and any target response times are as stated in-product or in an order form.

Schedule D - Enterprise Plan Terms

Enterprise access is governed by these Signup Terms and the ToS plus any signed Order Form and/or Master Services Agreement (MSA). If there is a conflict, the signed Enterprise documents control. Enterprise may include a DPA, security addendum, and optional SLA as agreed.

5. Contact lists, communications, and compliance

Organisers may upload contact lists to send invitations and event communications. By signing up, you confirm you have the lawful right and appropriate permissions to upload and contact those individuals for event-related purposes and that you will comply with applicable privacy and e-marketing laws.

You are responsible for the content and compliance of messages you send using the Platform. You will not upload sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary and permitted by law.

6. Records of acceptance

AttendIn may record the date/time of acceptance, the version/date of the ToS and schedules, and the acceptance method (website checkbox or invite click-to-accept) for audit and compliance purposes.

7. Governing law

These Signup Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (unless mandatory law provides otherwise).
